Apurva’s journey began as an international swimmer, transitioning successfully into the world of finance. He started his career with a three-year internship at Deloitte, where he worked with clients such as mutual funds and insurance companies. This exposure sparked his long-term vision, which eventually led to the creation of RAAS Capital Research Analysts.

Apurva then worked as a Research Analyst at CoValue Technologies, a unique valuation app for listed companies in India and the USA based on the DCF model. His experience there, coupled with his understanding of growth drivers and the gap between price and value, inspired him to start his investing journey.

He further explored the derivative markets, learning how hedge funds and AIFs maintain their alpha. Apurva now runs a proprietary desk, utilizing various premium-based strategies on the Index. In 2021, he advanced his expertise by completing a course in Financial Blockchain and Fintech at IIM Calcutta.
